I am not a very compassionate person. I care, however as far as compassionate science and doing something good for somebody, its rare for me to actually do something. I'm a big believer in loving what you do and I think that compassionate scientists are not only smart but love to create evolution and help others. For me, I really have to love something to actually attempt to make an impact or drastically change something bad for the better; if I don't extremely care about it, I won't change it. I think I'm this way because my dad is big on getting a job that matters instead of something that matters to me. He still however encourages me to follow my dreams and aspirations. A bit confusing, right?
As of right now, with what I've learned in school, I think I can start to make a change in the computer science fields. I still have so much more to learn but I think I can start by exploring into the issues that need attention around the world. I'm still quite young and can impact the world with my actions. Science is definitely not my favorite subject, but I do love computers and will give it a shot if it means doing something I love and something that I can grow with.
