My Anti Drug
Hands down, my anti-drug is Disneyland. I go there and completely relieve stress. Okay, kind of ironic because its where people can feel stressed out due to the amount of people at the theme park but personally, I love taking pictures. So, that being said, I make it my mission to find really cute places to take pictures. Also taking pictures with Disney characters is awesome too. It's like every time I take a pic with a Disney character, I add it to my collection. The rides are also wonderful too, but sometimes the wait times can be a drag. One of the things that I looooooooooooove doing there is watching the shows!! The Aladdin show is my favorite, but I also try to watch new shows. I also enjoy going the middle of the island, where they perform Fantasmic at night. Its so fun for me to see the different spots around Disney that are overlooked. I LOVE EATING PASTA THERE. OMG. THAT GIVES ME LIFE. I LOVE GOING TO DISNEY, I FEEL 1000000X MORE FABULOUS THAN I DO ON A REGULAR BASIS. And also wearing my ears, which I have to say I have quite a few now, go to use every time I go.

An Inconvenient Truth
The movie was definitely eye opening. I was always aware about climate change and global warming, but I didn't really care about it. That is, until I watched this documentary. The part that really hit me was the pictures of the glaciers that had melted. All that beauty, all that ice, our very world coming apart slowly. Heat is melting the glaciers and with that comes no place for the polar bears to live in. Yes, they don't exactly live in glaciers but it is ice! And that ice is melting. The before and after pictures of the environments made me think twice about the decisions I make that affect my environment. One of the choices being using energy that heats up the world, such as turning on my AC at home. I'll be honest, I haven't turned it on since I started watching the documentary. California weather has always been relatively perfect, in my eyes at least. Always happy weather and places to go. But I noticed that the oceans are increasing and heating up. And like in the documentary, eventually the ocean will rise to levels that will cover parts of California and other parts of the world. The fact that the 9/11 memorial building will be flooded breaks my heart and that so many people will lose their homes. THAT is what hit me. Wow. I'm going to do my best to conserve energy.
